If anyone was born to shop it was me. The hunt for the perfect find is something I thrive on, and matching people’s tastes to their needs is, to me, like piecing together a really good puzzle. A challenge that I’m absolutely up for.
Of course, Paris is one of my favorite places to shop. From small neighborhood stores, to chic upscale storefronts to hip, open-air flea markets, the city is bursting with opportunities to explore and find new treasures. There are also wonderful discoveries to be made outside of the city and other great locations in Europe.
I’m a fan of the flea markets, this is where real treasure hunting can begin. One of my favorite finds, a small Dior scarf. Easy to pack, but also a wonderful memory of not only finding this treasure but the conversation with the seller, which ended in a nice concessionon the price.
While Paris has so much to offer, there are many other venues on this side of the pond to explore. Don’t discount your own local shops. It’s even more important now to support local, as we continue to work our way through and out of the pandemic
And the nice thing about shopping these days, is that stores don’t all need to be in physical spaces—there are so many great online opportunities as well. Buying online also gives you a moment to really stop and evaluate your purchases and to research before you hit the order button.
My ultimate goal is to discover the most unique finds abroad, at home, and online and share them here with you. I also offer very limited, tailored shopping experiences for clients who are searching for that perfect treasure.
